Test and Tune days are held for the preparation and setting up of race cars, superkarts (if more than 6 superkarts attend on the day) or motorcycles, as well as enabling competitors to gain practice driving on a race circuit. Test and Tune days are private sessions, and racing/competition against other vehicles is NOT permitted.
Winton is now taking online bookings for Test and Tune Days. Bookings for each day will be available via the Competitors Page HERE.
Please note that in 2017, separate Test and Tune days will be held for cars and motorcycles – please see the 2017 Calendar for details.
The cost of a Test & Tune day is $160.00 per participant for walk up starts or $150 for online entries.
Test and Tune Days are held MOST Fridays, dependant on the Winton Motorsport Calendar. When a race meeting is being held at Winton Raceway, the Friday practise is utilised by those competitors who will be competing that weekend. Some Test and Tune days may be for certain types of vehicles only, so be sure to contact Winton Motor Raceway on (03) 5760 7100 to confirm, or check out our calendar on this website for further details.
Participants at Test and Tune days are required to have either one of the following licence requirements:
- AASA Club Racing licence or higher.
- CAMS L2S licence or higher.
- Motorcycle Australia competition licence (for all Motorcycle Test and Tune days).
Gates open at 7:30am and close at 6:00pm. Track activity commences at 9:00am and finishes at 4:30pm.
