Herfoss wins the battle. But Maxwell wins the round

A magic day all round for the first round of the year for the ASBK - Superbikes.Two fantastic races were held during the day and straight away it could be seen  that for this round at least, Wayne Maxwell and Troy Hurfoss would be resuming their previous battles of 2020.Race one had it all between the pair with Herfoss making a drastic mistake on the last lap that ensured that his rival take the chequered flag.Race two in afternoon sun had the two yet again battling from the start where it was Herfoss on this occasion winning in front of Maxwell who did what he had to do to take second in the race, and ultimately the race win.The bikes now head to Wakefield Park in 4 weeks where no doubt the battle will recommence.
